In my life I had a friend so dear
To me, she was the garden in my heart.
She would feed me things I’ve never
Seen. So actually she taught me taste.
There was such a love in her heart
She gave to me. My gratitude is real and
Deep, for now I will always share a love
So strong not fake.
So if I take it slow, I feel the love
Through what I eat.
Tracy is a part of Magdalene House, a two-year residential community founded in 1997 in Nashville for women with a history of violence and drug addiction.
