  4. In May 1990, Vincent Van Gogh’s Portrait of Dr. Gachet (1890) sold for $138.4 million.
  5. In May 1990, Pierre-Auguste Renoir’s Bal du Moulin de la Galette (1876) sold for $131.0 million.
  6. In May 2004, Pablo Picasso’s Garçon à la pipe (1905) sold for $119.40 million.
